I found your website recently. I had a penpal when I was in grade school by the name of Janet Jindra – she was from Kiel. I met up with her later when she went to college at UW-Madison, but since then I have lost contact with her and was wondering if the Janet mentioned in the family outing is the same person.
My name is Nancy Field. I am the great granddaughter of George Jindra and Marie Krcmarik Jindra. Their daughter Mary was my grandmother. She married Andrew Peltier and had 3 children. Their daughter Evelyn was my mother. Do any of you have any photos of George and Marie? I live in Middleton, WI and would love to get acquainted with living relatives if you ever get together again. I will be traveling to the Czech Republic this summer and plan on stopping to see the Miletic area.

We are looking for information on Lena (Jindra) Hartigan. She is the youngest child of George and Mary (Krcmarik) Jindra. Her date of birth is after 1880. She was probably born in Wisconsin.
She is mentioned in her sister Anna’s obituary in April 1943 as living in Seattle Washington. Her brother Frank’s obituary in 1964 states that she is deceased. We do not know what her husband’s name is.
