From Der Nord Westen, 10 Jan. 1907 (From the correspondent in Mishicott, 08 Jan.) On New Year's Day, Wm. Blum and Miss M. Wenholz were joined in marriage in the local Lutheran Church by Pastor G. Vater, followed by a marriage celebration in the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. Wenholz. The young couple will make their home here in our village where Mr. Blum has taken over his mother's estate. He is employed by the local post office as a rural carrier. Miss Dorothy Blum daughter of William Blum of Two Rivers became the bride of Alvin Messman son of Albert Messman of Schuyler, Nebraska at the home of the bride this afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. Haase tying the nuptial knot. Attendants were Miss Myrtle Redecker and Herbert Blum. After the ceremony a wedding supper was served to the forty guests in attendance. The couple will leave tomorrow for a two week wedding trip to Milwaukee and will make their home at Schuyler, Nebraska where the groom is employed as a street commissioner.
