Paul Schmidt, retired master of the US Engineering Department Dredge Kewaunee, and a former resident of Two Rivers, who died in a Milwaukee hospital Saturday morning were held at the Church of the Incarnation, N. 15th and W. Keefe, Milwaukee at 2:45 pm Monday. She resided at 2402 21st St. Milwaukee. Mrs. Schmidt, nee Ida Blum, was born in the town of Mishicot in 1877 and was married to Paul Schmidt in Two Rivers 52 years ago. For many years the family lived in Two Rivers and for the past 30 years in Milwaukee. Besides her husband she leaves a daughter, Mrs. John Douglas of Milwaukee; son Elmer Schmidt, Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. Lena Schmidt and Mrs. Alvina Thielbar, Mishicot and a brother, William Blum, Route 1 Mishicot. There are two grandchildren an three great grandchildren.
