  	Kempfert Henry C. Kempfert, 81, a lifelong resident of the county and Two Rivers resident for many years, died at the Maple Crest sanatorium, Whitelaw early last evening after a long illness. He had been a patient there since Nov. 4 The body will lie in state at the Klein and Stangel Inc., funeral home fro 7 pn Thursday untl 10 am Saturday morning when it will be taken to St. John's Lutheran church, Two Rivers, where it may be viewed until the time of services at 2 pm. The Rev. W.G. Haase will officiate and interment will be in Pioneers' Rest cemetery. He was born in Cooperstown in 1863, son of late Mr. and William Kempfert. He grew up on the farm and after he married Emma Blum, the couple settle on a farm in the town of Gibson. The family moved to Two Rivers 40 years ago an erected the Mexican house which he conducted for years. Mrs. Kempfert died in 1926. He continued to operate the hotel and a tavern for a time an then leased it. He made his home in Two Rivers except for a two year period which he spent in Indianapolis. He was a member of the St. John Lutheran church. Survivors include a son, Walter of Two Rivers; daughter, Mrs. George Hinkley, Nekoosa; two grandchildren an two great-grandchildren.

The bride is the eldest daughter of our esteemed townsman, Wm. Blum Esq. and is a young woman ot excellent qualities of head and neart. The groom is a well-to-do young farmner of Gibson and seems to be in every way worthy of the fair one who has given him her heart and hand. That each returning year may bring them a fuller measure of happiness and prosperity than the one that went before, is the heartfelt wish of their numerous friends.
