  	ADOLPH KOHOUT Adolph Kohout, 70, retired Gibson farmer, died Sunday morning at the home following a lingering illness. He was born at Kossuth in 1873 and in 1896 married Miss Mary Skarvan.They located on the present farm, now operated by his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Novachek. He retired in 1926. Mrs. Novachek died five years ago. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of the Holy Cross congregation, Mishicot. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Novachek of Gibson and Mrs. Robert R. Guse of this city; sister, Mrs. Anton Jorgensen of Sawyer, Wis., seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from the Specht Funeral Home in Mishicot and at 9 o’clock from the Holy Cross Church, the Rev. J. W. Lennehan officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. The body may be viewed at the funeral home where the rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 8 o’clock.  Manitowoc Herald Times, Monday, March 6, 1944.
