  	FRANK SPEVACEK Frank Spevacek, 86, lifelong resident of Gibson, died late yesterday at the homestead. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the home and at 10 o’clock from the St. Mary’s Catholic church at Tisch Mills, with interment in the church cemetery. Mr. Spevacek was born in Gibson in 1853 and took up farming. Mrs. Spevacek died a few years ago. Survivors are four sons, Anton of Milwaukee, Charles on the home farm, Emil of Mishicot, George of this city; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was a member of the Holy Name Society, whose members will meet tonight at the home to recite the rosary. Manitowoc Herald Times, October 6, 1939 P. 2 ******** Celebrate at Homestead Two important anniversaries will be celebrated this evening at the farm home on which Mr. and Mrs. Frank Spevacek, (photo) Mishicot, Route 2, have spent most of their 55 years of married life. A family gathering at their home will celebrate the couple's 55th wedding anniversary and Mr. Spevacek's 79th birthday anniversary, both events of Nov. 19. Their four sons, Anton, Cooperstown; Charles, on the homestead; Emil, Mishicot, and George of Manitowoc, and their six grandchildren will be with them for the celebration this evening. During his youth Mr. Spevacek came to this country from Prague, Bohemia, where he was born, Nov. 19, 1852. His wife, whose maiden name was Antonette Lamch, is a native of this vicinity. She was born at Greensteet Oct. 10, 1856. With the exception of a few years during which Mr. Spevacek operated the post office at Bolt, Wis., the couple has resided on the homestead farm in the town of Gibson since their marriage at Greenstreet Nov. 19, 1876.
