  	Ella Freitag Services will be held Tuesday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Franklin for Ella Freitag, 94 formerly of the Morgan area, who died Friday, Dec. 27, 1991 at the Burns Nursing Home of Hutchinson. Rev. Rob Kemppaninen will officiate and Jan Rodvik will be the organist. Pallbearers will be Jim, Roger, and Rick Freitag, Ivan Hagen, Rick Ball, and Jim Leuze. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Morgan with Nelson Funeral Home of Redwood Falls in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be today (Monday) from 5-8 and Tuesday from 8 a.m. - noon at the funeral home and one hour prior to service at the church. Ella M. Zamzow was born Aug. 9, 1897 in Three Lakes Township, Redwood County to Julius and Amilia Block Zamzow. She grew up on the family farm and attended country schools near Clements. On June 3, 1919 she married Clarence Freitag. The couple farmed north of Morgan until 1949. She then moved to Marshall and then to Mankato in 1953, where she lived until 1982. Then she entered Franklin Health Care Center and remained there until she became a resident of Burns Manor Nursing Home in 1985. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Franklin. Survivors include three sons Ervin and his wife Althea of Danube, Charles and his wife Loretta of Mankato, and Sylvester and his wife Ruth of Fairfax; three daughters Florence Helenbolt of Park Rapids, Delores Miller of Marshall, and LaVone Christnagel of Mankato; 39 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and four sisters Frida Fredrick of Springfield, Mabel Mude of Morgan, Anna Johnson of Springfield, Mabel Mude of Morgan, Anna Johnson of Springfield, and Lilly Gehrt of Lamberton. She was preceded in death by one son Melvin, one daughter Genevieve, and several brothers and sisters.
