  	Richard Malzahn At Rest Funeral services for Richard Malzahn were held Thursday afternoon at Zion Lutheran church with Rev. M.F. Scheips in charge. Burial was in the Zion Lutheran cemetery east of Pierce. Pall-bearers were Messrs. E. G. Schellpeper, Paul H. Breyer, E.A. Lambrecht, Julius Splittgerber, Ed Schwartz and Emil Hansen. Mr. Malzahn died Monday morning April 1, in a Norfolk sanatarium where he had been in a coma for five days. He had been ill wih heart trouble and complications for over two years. Born near Adair, Ia., March 21, 1898, he was one of six children left without a father or mother before he was 15 years old. He came to this community where an older brother, George, lived, when 15 years of age. For fourteen years he had operated a truckline here. Mr. Malzahn was married to Miss Ella Sporleder, June 18, 1922. Surviving besides his wife are his twin brother, Edward of Sioux City, Iowa, two other brothers, George, Schuyler; John, Appleton, Minn., and one sister, Mrs. George Glandorf, Williamsburg, Ia.
