Jindra Sr., 82, of 1021 S. 17th St., Manitowoc, lifelong Manitowoc County resident, died at 8:15 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he has been a patient since Jan. 16. Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church. The Rev. Alfred Pritzl will officiate and burial will be in the Mishicot Public Cemetery. Mr. Jindra was born May 1, 1879, at Reif Mills, son of the late George and Mary Jindra. He married Marie Ginzel at Manitowoc Feb. 9, 1901. The couple observed the golden anniversary of the wedding in 1951. The couple operated Kingsbridge tavern and hotel at Kingsbridge for 14 years, moved to the Shoto farm at Rt. 2, Two Rivers, remaining for 16 years and retired in 1959. Mr. Jindra was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 40 years. Surviving are his wife, two sons, Arnold of Manitowoc and Jon of Sheboygan; a brother, Frank of Manitowoc, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A son, Lester, died in 1924. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Monday where the Rosa ry will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Jan 1962 Jindra Funeral Funeral services for John F. Jindra, Sr, 82 of 1031 S. 17th St. Manitowoc, who died Saturday were at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc, with the Rev. Alfred Pritzl officiating. The Rev. Donald Feller of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tisch Mills, was in attendance and conducted graveside services at Mishicot Public Cemetery. Pallbearers were Harry Ginzl, John and Peter Jindra and Michael, Joseph Sr. and Joseph Jr. Jarosh.
