  	Tess Mrs. Herman (Minnie) Tess of 78 W. Maple St., Sturgeon Bay, died Tuesday evening, Aug. 12, at Door County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Sturgeon Bay. Burial will be in Bayside Cemetery, Sturgeon Bay. Mrs. Tess, nee Minnie Jonas, was born in Two Creeks, daughter of the late Fred and Minnie Jonas. She was married to Herman Tess November 12, 1912, at St. John Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. He preceded her in death March 20, 1969. Mrs. Tess was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid Society of the church and the Gold Star Mothers. Survivors include three sons, Elden, Wallace and Kenneth of Sturgeon Bay, two daughters, Mrs. Linda Smejkal of Sturgen Bay and Mrs. Kenneth (Gwen) Simonar of Two Rivers, 15 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. A son, Willard was killed during World War II. Nine brothers, two sisters, and a grandchild also preceded her in death. Friends may call at Davis Mortuary, Sturgeon Bay, 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Thursday, evening and after 9 a.m. Friday until the time of service. A prayer service will be 8 o'clock this evening.
