Mrs. Harvey Thompson, 85, who resided at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thompson, of 833 N. Sixth St., Manitowoc, died Saturday at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be Tuesday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Krist Caune will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Mrs. Thompson, nee Mary Ferdon, was born July 30, 1886 at Little Suamico, daughter of the late Obadiah and Catherine Jindra Ferdon. She attended Little Suamico schools and moved to Manitowoc as a child. She was married to Harvey Thompson Jan. 25, 1913, at Manitowoc. They celebratd their golden wedding anniversary in 1963. Her husband preceded her in death in 1967. She was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church, Manitowoc. Survivors include two sons, Robert of Manitowoc and Wesley, of Gardena, Calif.; three brothers, Chester and Frank Ferdon, of Manitowoc and Erwin, of Marinette; two sisters, Mrs. Emil (Elsie) Klingholz, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Herman (Alice) Hedjin, of Sauk Centre, Minn.; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A son, a sister and four brothers preceded her in death.
