Stangel Mrs. Mary Stangel, 81, of Kewaunee, died Sunday morning at the Kewaunee Hospital following a short illness. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Kewaunee. The Rev. Frank Melchoir will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Stangel, nee Mary Radey, was married to Richard E. Stangel Sept. 2, 1914 at Francis Creek. Her husband preceded her in death April 7, 1970. Survivors include a son, Virgil., of Kewaunee; three daughters, Mrs. John (Marianna) Kunz, of Rockwood, Mrs. Paul (Bernadette) Princl, of Mishicot and Mrs. Clarence (Mildred) Wisnicky, of Kewaunee; a sister, Mrs. Emil (Anna) Ginzl, of Manitowoc; 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Stangel Richard E. Stangel, 78, of 1208 Second St. Kewaunee, died Tuesday morning at his home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Kewaunee. The Rev. Ken Frozena will officiate with burial in t he church cemetery. Mr. Stangel was born Feb. 19, 1892, in Town of Carleton, Kewaunee County, son of the late Paul and Emily Seidl Stangel. He married Mary Radey in 1941 at Francis Creek. He was a dairy farmer until his retirement a few years ago. Mr. Stangel was a member of the Holy Name Society of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Kewaunee. Survivors include his wife; a son, Virgil, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Mildred) Wisnicky of Rt. 1, Kewaunee, Mrs. Paul (Bernedett e) Princl of Mishicot, and Mrs. John (Maryanna) Kunz of Rockwood; two brothers Julius of Kewaunee and Dr. Sylvester of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Clara) Skarvan of Francis Creek and Miss Tillie of Kewaunee; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A brother, Paul, preceded him in death. Friends may call at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee, after 2 p.m. Wednesday, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
