The old lady had been sinking gradually for the past several years, and it was thought she could not live long. But this thought does not alleviate the sorrow when the fatal moment arrives. • Notes

  In the book, The Blum Family History written by Herbert Blum, he claimed that Dorothy was the sister to Wilhelm Hinrch Blum. At the time of the writing, he did not find the birth records for either Wilhem Hinrich or Dorothy. We have since found evidence that Dorothy may not be the sister but possibly the Aunt of Wilhelm Hinrich. I have since found the birth record of Wilhelm Hinrich. Wilhelm Hinrich's were Hans Hinrich and Catharina Wilhemina Lendt. Catharina is the daughter of Hartwig Wilhelm Lendt and Elizaeth Christina Dunker. Based on ages only I am suspecting that Wilhelm Lendt husband of Dorothy is the prother of Catharina Wilhelmina. I have not yet found birth records for any of the Lendt Family members to prove or disprove this theory.
