  	ROBERT G. GRALL (d. 1995) Robert G. Grall, age 68, a Manitowoc resident, died Thursday, October 26, 1995, at the Park Lawn Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 1995, at the St. Paul's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Ronald Reimer will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial with interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Robert was born July 21, 1927, in Manitowoc, son of the late George and Cora Mahloch Grall. He grew up and was educated in Manitowoc and graduated with the Lincoln High School class of 1946. Robert was employed at the Lakeside Machine Shop for 42 years, retiring in 1990. He was active with the Manitowoc Braves from 1948-1952, and also was a Manitowoc Chiefs trainor from 1954-1956 and a Manitowoc Chiefs general manager from 1964-1968. Robert was a first year inductee into the Manitowoc Semi-Pro Football Hall Of Fame, a charter member and director of Football Inc., and a Scout Master for many years for children with disabilities. He married Ethel Mae Niephaus, July 15, 1950, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Ethel preceded him in death on May 27, 1994. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, a life member of the Manitowoc Yacht Club where he had served at Commodore and the Manitowoc city Harbor Commission. Robert was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed wood carving. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Navy in the South Pacific. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Christine Grall, Manitowoc, Pam and Bill Lorenz, Madison; one grandson, Jason Free, Manitowoc; a brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Edna Grall, Manitowoc; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Sparky Markowski, Manitowoc, Mangie and Roger Schuh, Sheboygan; a sister-in-law, Marvella Nicholson, Manitowoc; other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bernard. Relatives and friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Friday (TONIGHT) at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and on Saturday at the church from 10:30 until the time of service.
