FOX LAKE - Jeffry G. Jonas, 24, died unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 16, 200 5, as a result of an automobile accident in Waushara County.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 18, at 10 a. m. at Annunciation Catholic Parish Church, Fox Lake. The Rev. Michael Wi ld will officiate. Burial will follow in Annunciation Parish Cemetery, to wn of Trenton, Dodge County. Friends may call on Monday, Jan. 17, fr om 4 to 8 p.m., at Kratz-Smedema Funeral Home, Fox Lake, and on Tuesday, J an. 18, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at Annunciation Catholic Par ish Church, Fox Lake.
Jeffry was born on Oct. 27, 1980, in Waupun, the son of Gerald and Cher yl (Ring) Jonas. He attended the Waupun School District, graduating from W aupun High School in 1999. He furthered his education at MATC-Mequon, rece iving a degree in the landscape design program and continued to be self-em ployed, operating a landscaping business known as Jonas Greenscapes. He wi ll always be remembered as an ambitious young man who was good natured wi th a great sense of humor that loved the outdoors whether it was workin g, fishing or hunting and as an adoring "Uncle Jeff" to his two nieces.
Survivors include his parents, Gerald (Cheryl) Jonas, Fox Lake; two sister s, Kerry Jonas, Fontana, and Kathleen Jonas, Fox Lake; two nieces, Liber ti and Lydia Jonas Jongebloed; maternal grandmother, Kathleen Ring, Fox La ke; paternal grandparents, Melvin (Elizabeth) Jonas, Fox Lake; his dog, In dica; cousins, several other relatives and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Henry Ring in 199 3, and one uncle, Bryan Ring in 1977.
The Kratz-Smedema Funeral Home, Fox Lake, is serving the family.
