  	Mrs. Grall Dies Sunday Evening - Early Resident of Marshfield Succumbs to Illness of Long Standing Mrs. Joseph Grall, Sr., a resident of Marshfield for the past 36 years, died at St. Joseph's hospital at 7 o'clock Sunday Evening, losing a battle against a decline that set in several months ago. Mrs. Grall was removed to the hospital several days ago when her condition became extremely critical, and from that time on only slender hopes for her recovery were held. Funeral services will be held in St. John's Catholic Church at 9 o'clock Thursday morning with the pastor, Father A.J. Dorrenbach, officiating at a requiem high mass. The death of Mrs. Grall removes a resident of Marshfield for whom many held an affectionate regard. The deceased was prominent in the Altar Society of St. John's church and an active member of the Missionary Association of Catholic Women, and also belonged to the Royal Neighbors. Mr. Grall, whose maiden name was Mary Wittman, was born in the Township of Cato, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, June 5, 1868, and grew to young womanhood there. Her marriage to Mr. Grall was solemnized on June 7, 1886. Several years later she and her husband moved to Marshfield and their home has been here since. Twelve children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Grall, nine of whom survived the deceased mother. They are: Joseph Grall, Jr., Miss Irene Grall, Miss Isabell Grall, John Grall, and Raymond Grall, Marshfield; Mrs. Orville Fink, Portage; Mrs. H.G. Pfaff and Mrs. William L. Schaefer, Fond du Lac and Mrs. David Dopson, Chicago. Two sons and a daughter preceded her in death. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. John Paul, Maplewood, Wis.
