Mrs. Elsie (Cecelia) Kohlbeck, 79, 730 County Trunk Y, Marshfield, died at 7:04 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 1996, in the St. Joseph's Hospital emergency room.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, 1996, at Rembs/Kundinger Chapel, with the Rev. Raymond H. Bornbach, pastor of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hewitt, officiating. A memorial mass will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church at a later date. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.
Rembs/Kudinger Chapel is handling the arrangements. There will be no public visitation.
She was born April 26, 1916, in Milladore, to Rudolph and Elizabeth (Meliseva) Younger. Her first marriage was to George Peters in 1935. They later divorced. Her second marriage was to Richard L. Kohlbeck June 17, 1961, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hewitt. He died Oct. 23, 1995.
She attended Mill Creek School in the town of Milladore, Wood County.
Mrs. Kohlbeck had farmed with her husband and also was employed in domestic work and later at the St. Joseph's Hospital laundry department. She resided in the town of Marshfield until the time of her death.
She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and the Parish Council of Catholic Women.
Survivors inclue three sons, William H. (Mary) Peters of Vesper, Leonard G. (Diane) Peters of Rudoph, and Reuben Peters of Marshfield; three daughters, Aileen Schudy of Neenah, Summer (Ronald) Peters Brown of Mountain View, Calif., and WIlma (Roger) Qual of Tucson, Ariz.; one sister, Helen Engels of Rock Island, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, one son, one brother and one grandson.
