He was convicted of drivi ng an automobile while intoxicated which struck and killed Joseph Souku p, town of Gibson farmer, last June. [June 21, 1931]

    Manitowoc, Wis-Willard Mott 51-year-old town of Gibson father of 15 children, who has been missing from his home since last Tuesday was reported seen Thursday hitchhiking toward Sheboygan.

    Mott had ridden to Manitowoc with a man who left him off at the Tenth street bridge when the missing man said he planned to attend a meeting.

    Sheboygan police informed of this report kept a lookout but up to noon today had no trace of the missing man.

    Manitowoc, Wis-Willard Mott Larrabee truck driver missing since Aug 6, returned to his home last Monday, it was reported to Sheriff Max Hiller, Jr. No explanation to the man's absense was given to the sheriff.

    Mott was the object of an intensive search by sheriff's deputies and police in which authorities of nearby cities co-operated.

    Mott Willard Mott Sr., 88 retired Town of Gibson farmer, who had been making his home with a daughter Mrs. Loretta Avery of 1016-20th St., Two Rivers, died at Holy Family Hosptial Extended care Unit, Manitowoc, Sunday Morning.

    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Melnick Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Charles Freuden officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

    Mr. Mott was born in the Town of Gibson December 23, 1883, a son of the late George and Sarah Haese Mott. He married Anne Chaloupka, Sept. 29, 1909 and she preceded him in death Jan. 30, 1950.

    Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Avery and Mrs.Amand (Joyce) Marcelle of Two Rivers, Mrs. August (Eunice) Stueck of Rt. 1 Two Rivers, and Mrs. John (Carol) Gilbert of Rt. 1 Mishicot; nine sons, Milton and Stanley of Two Rivers, George of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, Marvin of Rt. 1 Manitowoc, Willard Jr., of Rt. 1 Maribel, Russell of Rt. 1 Denmark, Raymond and Omar of Rt. 1 Mishicot, and Eugene of Manitowoc; three brothers, William of Rt.2 Two Rivers, Oliver of Manitowoc and Sam of Rt. 1 Mishicot, 45 grandchildren and 67 great grandchildren. A son, daughter and brother and two sisters preceded him in death.

    Friends may call at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot after 3 p.m. Tuesday until 11:30 a.m. Wednesday when the casket will be taken to the church where the body will lie in state until the time of services.

    Henry Hagenow Sr., 91, lifelong resident of the Town of Kossuth, Rt. 2, Two Rivers, died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday on the farm home operated by a son, Edward. He had been ill two weeks.


    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Melnik Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Gervase F. Zanotti officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.


    Mr. Hagenow was born in the Town of Kossuth Dec. 4, 1866, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian Hagenow. He was engaged in farming on the homestead property his entire life, retiring 20?? years ago when his son, Edward took over the operation. He married the former Emma Robinson in 1898. She preceded him in death 13 years ago.


    Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. John Kouba and Mrs. George Mott of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, and Mrs. James Wasurick of Rt. 1, Mishicot; three other sons, Charles of Manitowoc and Henry Jr., and Otto of Rt. 2, Two Rivers; a brother, Charles of Rt. 2, Two Rivers; 14 grandchildren and 19 great grand-children. A daughter, Ella, preceded him in death 32 years ago.


    Friends may call at Specht Funeral Home, Mishicot, after 2 p.m. Friday until 11 a.m. Saturday when the casket will be taken to the church where the body will lie in state until the time of service.

    Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Melnik
    Presbyterian church for Mrs. Henry Hagenow, Sr., of Fischerville,
    who died this morning at the Holy Family hospital after a stroke.
    The Rev. Yaroslav Vrany will officiate at the church rites which
    will follow a short service at the Specht funeral home, Mishicot,
    at 1:30. Interment will be in the church cemetery.


    Mrs. Hagenow, nee Emma Robinson, was born Oct. 26, 1877, in the
    town of Kossuth. On April 6, 1897, she was married to Mr. Hagenow
    and they settled in Fischerville.
    The husband and seven children survive, Mrs. John Kouba, Kingsbridge; Mrs. James Wasurick and Mrs. George Mott, both of Fischerville; Charle Hagenow, Manitowoc; Henry Jr., Larrabee; Otto, Francis Creek and Edward, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Louise Richter, Sheboygan; Mrs. James Novak and Mrs. Anna Hronek, both of Fischerville. Five brothers who also survive are Edward Robinson, Two Rivers; Joseph,
    Mishicot; Alfred, Charles and Otto, Manitowoc.


    Friends may call at the funeral home to pay their respects from
    Wednesday until the hour of services.
