Mike Jindra and Ellen (Chaloupka) Rohr are third cousins once removed. Mike's grandfather and my great grandmother were siblings. It was not uncommon in the 1800s for people to marry and settle in their local community. As Ellen started to connect the branches of the family tree, she found many family connections. Just the other day, we found a distant connection on Ellen's paternal side and Mike's maternal side, a branch Ellen had not documented yet.
