    Susan M. Jonas, nee Pudil, of the town of Jackson died on Saturday, Oct. 1 9, 2002 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee at the age of 61. She was born on Nov. 5, 1940 in Milwaukee to the late James and Charlot te (nee Krause) Pudil.

    After her graduation from high school, Susan was employed at Allis-Chalme rs in West Allis until her marriage. After her marriage to Ronald Jon as on May 20, 1961 in Milwaukee, the settled in Milwaukee until 1973 wh en the family came to the town of Jackson. Susan then began working for t he State of Wisconsin Job Service office in West Bend and later in Graft on and Cedarburg until illness forced her to retire in November 2001.

    Susan was active both in Boy and Girl Scouts while her children were in sc outing. She also taught Sunday School at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Mi lwaukee. Susan was a proud member of St. John's Lutheran Church in the to wn of Jackson, where she was a member of the Tuesday Nite Prayer Group a nd also was a member of the Sweet Adelines and the TOPS club.

    Survivors include her husband, Ron; three children, David (Carolyn) of Jackson, Kevin (Brenda) of Kewaskum and Jean (Mike) Nettesheim of Hartford; three grandchildren, Dalton, Hailey and Connor; one sister, Barn Scherff of Wauwatosa; a sister-in-law, Mary Pudil of Wauwatosa; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

    She was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Jr.; and one brother, John.

    Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home, Jackson, with Pastor Paul Mittermaier officiating. Visitation wi ll be from 4-6:45 p.m. Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association or to the Building Fund at St. John's Lutheran Church, town of Jackson.

    Fred W. Jonas, 65, of 3517 Tannery Rd. Two Rivers, died Friday morni ng in Two Rivers Community Hospital. Private funeral services were 1 P.M. Saturday in Our Savior Lutheran Churc h, Two Rivers. The Rev. Harmon Krause officiated and entombment was in Kn ollwood Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth. Mr. Jonas was born Oct. 6, 1912, in Devils Lake, N.D. son of the late Fr ed T. and Ida Freitag Jonas. He married Marie Blum Oct. 8, 1938 in the To wn of Gibson. An employee of Hamilton Industries for 35 years, he retir ed in October, 1977. Survivors include his wife, Marie, two sons Ronald A. of Cedarburg and Fre derick E. of Mishicot; a daughter Mrs. William G. (Elaine) Chaloupka of Mi shicot; a brother Emmath of Two Rivers; two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Holler an of Chicago and Mrs. Sylvester Schmitz of Kenosha and eight grandchildre n.     Marie A. Jonas, age 78, of 3517 Tannery Rd., Two Rivers, died Thursday eve ning, January 18, 2001, at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
    Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 22, 2001, at O ur Saviors Ev. Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Louis Sievert will offici ate and entombment will follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
    Marie was born April 24, 1922, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Willi am F. and Meta Wenholtz Blum. She married Fred W. Jonas, on October 8, 193 8, in the town of Gibson. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1978. She w as a homemaker and was formerly employed by Mirro Aluminum for many yea rs and then in the housekeeping department at Holy Family Memorial Hospit al for a number of years. She was a long time member of Our Savior Ev. Lut heran Church. Marie volunteered her services to many people in need.
    Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and William Chaloupk a, Mishicot; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald A. and Susan Jonas, Jac kson, Wis., Frederick E. and Bonnie Jonas, Mishicot; eight grandchildre n, James (Julie) Chaloupka, Ellen Rohr, David
    (Carolyn) Jonas, Kevin (Brenda) Jonas, Jean Marie Jonas, Edward (Brenda) J onas, Joseph (Krissy) Jonas, Daniel (Kim) Jonas; 11 great grandchildren; t wo sisters, Edna Steger, Two Rivers, Elva Baker, Bayfield, Wis.; one siste r-in-law, Martha Blum, Neillsville, Wis. Further survived by nieces, nephe ws, other relatives and friends, including a special niece, Evie Gagnon, T wo Rivers.     The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Aurora Medical Ce nter who cared for Marie, the staff at North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitat ion Cen-ter. Also the Gary Shavlik Family, and Carol and Lawrence Hansen f or their generosity.
