    MILTON L. MUELLER (d. 1988)

    Milton L. Mueller, 91, former Manitowoc resident who resided at 605 Chase Blvd.,
    Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, died early Wednesday morning, April 6, 1988 at Skallen
    Nursing Home, Stoughton, Wisconsin. Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday at
    St. John United Church of Christ, Manitowoc. Rev. Gerald Schrankler will
    officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
    Mr. Mueller was born September 15, 1896 in the Town of Mishicot, son of the late
    Charles and Pauline Fischer Mueller. He was a graduate of Washington High School,
    Two Rivers, with the Class of 1914. He married the former Cora L. Ahrens on
    June 2, 1925, in Two Rivers. Mr. Mueller was a resident of Manitowoc for 55 years
    and moved to Sun Prairie in 1965. Mr. Mueller was employed by Standard Oil Co.
    where he served as treasurer until his retirement in 1961. Mr. Mueller was a
    member and past president of U.C.T. He was also a member of Manitowoc Masonic
    Lodge F and AM No. 65; a member of St. John United Church of Christ for over 50
    years where he was a Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent for 40 years; a
    member of the Men's Club and Church Council.
    Survivors include his wife, Cora of Sun Prairie; two sons and daughters-in-law;
    Charles and Sandra of Sun Prairie and Edward and Marion of Neenah; a daughter
    and son-in-law, Carol and William Hayes of Grosse Point Farms, Michigan; and
    six grandchildren.
    Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 6 pm to 8 pm Friday and at
    the church on Saturday from 10 am to the time of services. Masonic service at
    7 pm Friday evening.

    Mueller, Mrs. Cora L. Ahrens

    STOUGHTON - Mrs. Cora L. Ahrens Mueller, age 91, a former Manitowoc resident, died on Monday, February 21, 1994 at the Skaalen Nursing Home, Stoughton, Wisconsin. Mrs. Mueller was born on May 17, 1902, in the Town of Two Rivers, the daughter of the late John and Augusta Runge Ahrens. She was a graduate of Washington High School, Two Rivers, with the class of 1920, and of Manitowoc Teachers College, 1921. She taughter in the towns of Kossuth and Mishicot, and the State Graded School of Mishicot. She married Milton L. Mueller on June 2, 1925. in Two Rivers. She was a resident of Manitowoc for 55 years, and moved to Sun Prairie in 1985. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, and past president of St. John's Women's Guild, Sheboygan Regional Women's Guild, Synodical Women's Guild, United Council of Church Women, U.C.T. and the Eastern Star and Auxiliary. Survivors include two sons, Charles (Sandra) of Sun Prairie, and Edward (Marion) of Neenah; a daughter, Carol (William) Hayes of Winnetka, Illinois; six grandchildren, Kristen (Brook) Redd, Susan (Raimund) Dettmer, Steven Mueller, John Mueller, Paul Mueller, and Patrick Hayes; a great-grandson, Ethan Redd; and two sisters, Myrtle Kastrosky of Watertown, and Mildred Walters of Spokane, Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton; three brothers, Jerry, Harvey and Elmer; and a sister, Elvira. Friends may call at ST. JOHN'S UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST in Manitowoc, on Saturday, February 26, 1994, from 10:00 a.m. until funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc.
