ROBERT F. LAHEY, age 87, of Eaton, Ohio, died Monday, May 8, 2006 at Heartland of Eaton. Born on November 21, 1918 in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Edward W. & Ella (Gruman) Lahey. He retired in 1982 from Snyder Skate Company in Dayton and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Eaton and was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran of WW II. He has lived in Eaton since 1960. Preceded in death by Son: Patrick Lahey in 2000, 2 Brothers and 6 Sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years: Ruth S. (Ploeckelmann) Lahey; Daughter & Son-in-law: Maxine & Norman Smuck, Paoli, Indiana; Son & Daughter-in-law: Michael & Cathy Lahey, Cincinnati, Ohio; 5 Grandchildren; Nieces & Nephews.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2006 - 2:00 P.M. at Grace Lutheran Church - 111 Lutheran Drive - Eaton, Ohio with Pastor John Place officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Arrangements Entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main St. - Eaton, Ohio.
