    Emmath G. Jonas, 76, of 1717 21st Street, Two Rivers, died unexpected ly late Monday morning, Aug. 15, at home.
    Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Evangelical Lu theran Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Edward Stelter will officiate and bur ial will be in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
    Mr. Jonas was born Aug. 21, 1906, at Lynd, Minn., son of the late Fred a nd Ida Freitag Jonas. He married Martha Blum, March 10, 1934, at Waukega n, Ill. He was a painter for many years. He also was a member of St. Jo hn Evangelical Lutheran Church.
    Survivors include his wife, Martha: four sons and three daughters-in-la w, Winton and Judith Jonas of Two Rivers, Paul and Linda Jonas of Two Rive rs, Karl Jonas of Waubeka, Wis, Wayne and June Jonas of Niles, Mich.; t wo sisters, Mrs. Lydia Hallaron(sic) of Chicago. Mrs. Irene Schmitz of Po rt Charlotte, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Ardes sa Jones of San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. Edna Jonas of Mishicot, and Mrs. Mar ie Jonas of Two Rivers. He was preceded in death by twin daughters and th ree brothers.
    Friends may call at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels 6 o/clock to 9 o'clo ck this Tuesday evening and at the church after 9 a.m. Wednesday.

    MARTHA JONAS Mrs. Martha Jonas, 77, of Two Rivers, died early Tuesday morning, October 16, 1990, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc after a courageous and non-complaining bout with cancer. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Edward Stelter will officiate with burial at Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers. She was born April 11, 1913, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late William and Meta Wenholz Blum. She attended St. John Parochial School. On March 10, 1934, she married Emmath Jonas at Waukegan, Illinois. He preceded her in death August 15, 1983. Mrs. Jonas did housekeeping work and she wanted to remember all the children she babysat for during her life. (Survivors omitted for privacy) She was preceded in death by a son and two daughters. Friends may call at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 12 noon Thursday at the church.     The former Martha Blum, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William F. Blum of Gibson, announced yesterday she became the bride of Emmett Jonas, son of Fred Jonas of Morton, Minnesota, on March 10. The ceremony was performed at Waukegan, Illinois, by the Rev. Bardz.
