    FRANK LENHARDT

    Frank Lenhardt, aged fifty-nine years and eleven months, passed away Saturday at his home on upper Washington St. He was a victim of apoplexy. He had suffered attacks of apoplexy for the past year. Deceased was born in Hasselbach, Kries Simmern, Regierungsbezick, Coblenz, Germany and came to this country with his parents at the age of eight years in 1858, they settling at the tannery, a few miles north of here. He spent part of his boyhood on a farm in Mishicot and then he came to this city where he has resided for upwards of thirty-five years. He was married to Katherine Reinert who survives him as do three daughters, Margaret, Amanda and Anna and one son, John. He also leaves a brother, Alderman Ferdinand Lenhardt and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Freiss and Mrs. George Jindra. The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon from St. John's Lutheran Church.

    MRS. F. LEONARD (sic) DIES AT NOON AT HOME HERE
    Complications of diseases superinduced by age proved fatal to Mrs. 
    Frank Leonard, 61 year old Two Rivers resident, who for many years 
    made her home in this city. Death occurred at the family home at 
    2114 Washington street shortly before noon today. Mrs. Leonard, who 
    for about 42 years made her home in Two Rivers, was widely known 
    through the county and was held in general esteem by all who came 
    in contact with her. Since the death of her husband eight years ago, 
    she has continued living at the family homestead, devoting her life 
    to members of her family. She was born in the town of Kossuth on 
    November 18, 1867 and lived her entire life in Manitowoc county. 
    Upon her marriage to Mr. Leonard she moved to this city and has lived 
    here continuously. She was a devout member of the St. Luke’s 
    Congregation and a member of the Altar Society. Four children, Mrs. 
    John Janea and Mrs. Albert Doncheck of Two Rivers, Mrs. E.L. Weber, 
    Manitowoc and a son, John, Two Rivers, survive her in addition to 
    three brothers, John Reinhardt, South Milwaukee, Michael Reinhardt, 
    Manitowoc Rapids, and Frank Reinhardt, Francis Creek and two sisters, 
    Mrs. Theodore Dier, Manitowoc and Mrs. William Schroeder of Two 
    Rivers. She is also survived by two grandchildren. Funeral arrangements 
    have not been completed but will be announced in tomorrow’s edition 
    of this paper. The services will be held from the St. Lukes church, 
    Reverend Father Thuecks officiating and interment will take place in 
    the new cemetery.
