Couple Wed In Rites At Mishicot
The parsonage of Holy Cross Church at Mishicot was the scene of the wedding of Miss Gladys Chaloupka, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Chaloupka, Mishicot, Route 1 and Anton Fictum, 925 North 22nd street, Manitowoc at 3 p.m. today. The Rev. Van Bogart officiated.
Mrs. William Chaloupka Jr. was matron of honor and William Chaloupka Jr. brother of the bride, was best man.
The bride was dressed in a dress of soldier blue crepe with a lace yoke and blue velvet bows. Her accessories matched and she carried a bouquet of white carnations.
The matron of honor wore a dress of shell pink with a tucked bodice and wore a corsage of white carnations.
Dinner will be served this evening at the bride's home at 6 o'clock to the immediate families and close friends, and the couple will greet their friends later at a reception.
The couple will make their home in Manitowoc at 1003 North 21st street. The groom is a welder at the Manitowoc Ship Building Co. and a graduate of Lincoln High School.
The bride is a graduate of the Mishicot High School and of the Bureau of Home Nursing in Milwaukee. Before he marriage she was employed in that city.
Among the showers at which the bride was honored was one on Wednesday evening at her home. Guests were Mrs. Quirin Zeman, Mrs. Frank Kunz, Mrs. James Kunz, Mrs. Ed Chaloupka, Mrs. James Novak, Mrs. Walter Dirkman, Mrs. Albert Reynolds, Mrs. Joseph Gohr, Mrs. Adoph Cherney, Mrs. George Komorowski, Mrs. Edward Grenier, Mrs. George Junk, Mrs. John Rhein, Mrs. Edward Greycarek, Mrs. Alvin Hagenow, Mrs. Anton Fictum, Sr., Mrs. William Chaloupka, Jr., Mrs. Charles Robinson, Mrs. Frank Radey, Miss Marion Paulson, Miss Lucille Dirkman, Miss Julia No......rest unreadable
