Omar Mott, age 74, of 3130 Fisherville Rd., town of Gibson passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning August 31, 1999, at Two Rivers Community Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday September 3, 19999, at Melnik Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Karen Doty officiating, with Graveside Military Rites accorded by the Mishicot VFW Kempen-Staudinger-Terens Post #7753 at Knollwodd Memorial park, town of Kossuth.
Omar was born December 28, 1924, in the town of Gibson, to the late Willard and Anna Chaloupka Mott, Sr. He served in the United States Navy during World War II aboard the USS Lst #845. He married the former Beatrice Greenwood in 1950. She preceded him in death in July of 1986. Mr. Mott was employed for the Princl TRansport Company and for Koeppel Trucking as a truck driver for many years. he received the Milton Mile award from Mack Truck. He was a member of the Melnik Presbyterian Church, the MIshicot VFW, Kempen-Staudinger-Terens Post #7753 and the Teamsters Union #75. Omar was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed playing cards. He lvoed spending time with his special brother Stanley. He enjoyed farming with his special friends, Rodney and Laurie, Tom and Kim.
Survivors include hs very special loving friend Donna Musil, Fisherville, one daughter, Rita and her husband Charlie Sittman, Two Rivers; one brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Shirley Mott, Two Rivers; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Eunice and August Steuck, Two Rivers, Carol and John Gilbert, Mishicot; grandchildren, Kim Tina, Jodi.
Omar is further survived by Donna's children, Rodeny and Laurie Musil, Fisherville, Kim and Tom Rahmlow. Mishicot; Donna's grandchildren, who were his pride and joy, Brad, Kayla, Steven and Paul; 11 great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Amond Marcelle, Two Rivers; five sisters-in-law, Lucy Mott, Manitowoc, ANnie Mott, Francis Creek, Ruth Mott, Manitowoc, Edith Mott, Manitowoc, Phyillis Mott, Mishicot; nieces, nephews, and many special friends. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Loretta Avery, Joyce marcelle and an infant sister, LaVerne; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Harvey Mott, George and Ida Mott, Ray Mott, Marvin Mott, Russell Mott, Willard Mott, Jr. Eugene Mott, Melvin Mott, Sydney Mott, Milton Mott, and Milton's two spouses, LaVerne and Muriel and a special grandson, Billy.
Friends may call from 4-8 on Thursday at the Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot and after 10 a.m. on Friday at the Melnik Presbyterian Church, until the time of services at 11 a.m.
Omar was a very kind and considerate man, who loved to help anyone who called upon him. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him and he will remain in our hearts forever.
