ALMA JURGENS
Alma Jurgens, age 83, of Two Rivers, died early Tuesday morning, October 20, 1998, at Two Rivers Community Hospital.Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 1998, at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Rev. David Arndt with burial to follow at Pioneer Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers.
She was born November 11, 1914, in the town of Mishicot, daughter of the late William and Meta Wenholz Blum. She attended St. John's Parochial School. On July 24, 1935, she married Alfred Jurgens in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on October 10, 1988.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters. Friends may call at St. John's Lutheran Church, Two Rivers, after 9 a.m. Saturday, until the time of service at 11 a.m. There will be no Friday evening visitation.The Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

On New Year's Day, Wm. Blum and Miss M. Wenholz were joined in marriage in the local Lutheran Church by Pastor G. Vater, followed by a marriage celebration in the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. Wenholz. The young couple will make their home here in our village where Mr. Blum has taken over his mother's estate. He is employed by the local post office as a rural carrier.
