Mrs. Radey Breaks Hip Ub Fall on Ice
A 73 year old Manitowoc woman Mrs. Elizabeth Radey of 2428 Meadow Lane, suffered a broken right hip Tuesday when she slipped and fell on ice.
Sgt Ben Muchowski who helped take Mrs. Radey to Holy Family hospital, said she fell after getting off a bus at the southeast corner of Western avenue and South 26th Street.

Mrs. Elizabeth Radey Mrs. Elizabeth Radej, 76, who had been residing with a daughter, Mrs. Roy Streich of 719 S. 15th St. Manitowoc, died Monday night at the Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Pfeffer Funeral home. Manitowoc and at 9 o'clock at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
The Revs. E.A. Radey, Donald Rose and Theodore Kuechmann will officiate and interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Radey, nee Elizabeth Stuyeber was born in Kellnersville on Feb. 22, 1877.
She was married to Mathew Radey in 1900.
They located on a farm in the town of Newton and in 1923 moved to Sheboygan.
Mr. Radey died in 1923. In 1937 Mrs. Radey moved to Manitowoc.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Roy Streich and Mrs. Alex (Alvina) Glisch of Manitowoc, son Adolph, of Sheboygan. Three brothers Frank of Manitowoc, Charles of Los Angeles and John of Francis Creek; sister, Mrs. Anna Tryznak of Milwaukee. Five Grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 pm today. The rosary will be recited at 7 pm tonight.
