Gibson: A serious accident happened at J. Troiilier's raising on Wednesday, June 5. The men were raising some heavy timbers when suddenly they slipped and the men were unable to hold them. The timbers fell to the ground and in so doing struck Andrew Bouda across the chest crushing his lungs entirely and breaking several ribs. A doctor was sent for but his help was of no avail for about three hours after life became extinct. The most heartfelt sympathy is extended to the bereaved wife and children. Funeral services were held Friday at the Mishicot Catholic cemetery.
