Chaloupka
Adolph Chaloupka, 81, of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, died Monday afternoon as the result of a car accident. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Melnik Presbyterian Church, Melnik. The Rev. Charles Freuden will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Chaloupka was born September 21, 1893, at Chicago, son of the late Thomas and Anna Shedivy Chaloupka. He married Mildred Strouf, Dec. 5, 1920. He operated a cheese factory at Larrabee for many years. He was then employed at Hamilton Mfg Co. of Two Rivers, retiring in 1956. He was a member and former trustee of Melnik Presbyterian Church, a member of Western Bohemian Fraternal Assn. and a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, Leslie of Fond du Lac and Allan of Denmark, two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Elaine) LaViolette, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Joan Alioto, of Larrabee; 20 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A daughter, three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.Friends may call at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, after 4 p.m. Wednesday until 11:30 a.m. Thursday and at the church from noon until the time of service.

MAN 81, VICTIM OF CRASH
An 81 year old rural Two Rivers man was killed and three persons were injured in a two-car crash at 1:45 p m Monday at the junction of Highway 141 and 147 about 1 1/2j miles east of Maribel. Adolph J Chaloupka, Rt 2. Two Rivers, was pronounced dead of head injuries at the scene by County Coroner James E. Powers.
The injured, all removed to St. Vincent Hospital by DeWane Ambulance of Denmark or private auto, included Gilbert Stenz, 47 of Milwaukee, concussion and head cuts. James Popham 36, of Oconomowoc, broken left hand and right wrist, and Adam Fuerdi. 44 of Cedarburg, broken foot and left wrist.
According to the County accident report, a car driven by Popham was southbound on Highway 141 when a car driven by Chaloupka. which was westbound on Highway 147, passed the stop sign at the junction, continuing directly into the path of the Popham car. Stenz and Fueredi were passengers in the Popham vehicle.
Chaloupka's death is recorded as the third traffic fatality on Manitowoc County roads this year, compared to none at this time last year

The thoughfulness and kindness of our relatives, friends and neighbors has been deeply appreciated and we are extending our most grateful thanks to all of you who have so kindly aided us in our recent bereavement, the loss of our beloved husban, father and grandfather and great grandfather, Mr. Adolph Chaloupka. Special thanks to the Rev. Charles Freuden, organist and soloist of Melnik Presbyterian Church, the pallbeareers, donors of spiritual bouqets, flowers and food and any others who aided us in any way.

ALLAN CHALOUPKA OBITUARY
Chaloupka, Allan
Allan Adolph Chaloupka, age 90, of Denmark, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Scandinavian Court in Denmark. The son of the late Adolph and Mildred (Strouf) Chaloupka was born August 12, 1926 in the Town of Gibson. He graduated from Mishicot High School in 1944 and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy from August of 1944 until July of 1947. On February 23, 1952, he married the former Kathleen Schroeder in Manitowoc, and together they shared 65 years of marriage. During his career, Allan worked for Pauly Cheese until his retirement in 1988, and also drove school bus for the Denmark Public Schools. He was a member and past commander of VFW Post 6705 in Denmark, and was proud to have been on a WWII Honor Flight. In his spare time, Allan enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers, listening to polka music and keeping a meticulous garden. He was a life-long member of Melnik Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Katie; children: Lynn (Bob Boyer) Hager of Pound, Karen Chaloupka of Denmark, Wayne (Vicki) Chaloupka of Luxemburg, Dean (Anne) Chaloupka of Wellington, FL, Brian (Julie) Chaloupka of Kewaunee, Ross (Gena) Chaloupka of Roswell, GA, and Neal (Jim Seitz) Chaloupka of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren: Tricia (Charles) Rottier, Scott (Lorra) Hager, Carrie (Bob Siebert) Hager, Laura Chaloupka, Sara Chaloupka, Tony Chaloupka, Brandon Chaloupka, Morgan Chaloupka, Hannah Chaloupka, Kim (Shaun) Hardtke, Amie Chaloupka, Matt Chaloupka; step-grandchildren: Sarah Mitchell and Mason Mitchell; great-grandchildren: Alex Hager, Colin Rottier, Katy Hager and Adrienne Hardtke; sisters-in-law: Arlene Schroeder, Lois Schroeder, Ruth Wegner and Cheryl (David) Decker; brother-in-law Roger (Betty) Schroeder as well as nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Adolph and Mildred, Allan was preceded in death by an infant son Lee; sisters: Edith Mae, Elaine (Carl) LaViolette and Joan Alioto; brother Leslie (Louise) Chaloupka; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Melvin and Helen Schroeder; brothers-in-law: Robert Schroeder, Leo Schroeder and Norman Wegner as well as a sister-in-law Helen Schroeder.
Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home-Denmark Chapel, 536 County Road R, Denmark, on Wednesday, April 26, from 4-8pm with a VFW service to be held at 7:00pm by Denmark Post 6705 . Visitation will continue on Thursday at Melnik Presbyterian Church, 12320 Melnik Rd, (Whitelaw) from 10:00am until 10:45am. Funeral service at 11:00am Thursday with the Rev. Phil Kinzel officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.

The marriage of Mildred Strouf, daughter of Wenzel Strouf of Gibson and Adolph Chaloupka, son of Thomas Chaloupka of Mishicot, was celebrated this morning at the Presbyterian manse, Rev Axtell officiating. The couple were attended by Edwin Strouf and Julia Chaloupka, brother and sister of the bride and groom. After a wedding trip to Antigo and other northern points, they will reside in Gibson, where the groom conducts a cheese factory.
