Hold Bouda Rites
Mishicot-Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Bouda were held Saturday Oct. 3 at 9:30 am from Spect's Funeral Home and at 10 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery. Those who served as pallbearers were Walter Chadek, Ervin Polifka, Victor Wetak, Matt Polifka Jr., Victor Polifka and Clarence Polifka.

Bouda
Mrs. Barbara Bouda, 56, Memorial Drive, a native of Franklin, Manitowoc County, died at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, where she had been a patient since Sunday. She had been in failing health the past year.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 Saturday from the Specht Funeral Home, Mishicot, and at 10 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot, the Rev. George M. Beth officiating. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mishicot.
Mrs. Bouda, nee Barbara Polifka, was born in Franklin in 1897, a daughter of the late John and Maggie Stedle Polifka. In 1929 she was married iat Manitowoc to Frank Bouda of the town of Kossuth, who preceded her in death four years ago. After residing on the home farm in the town of Kossuth since her marriage she disposed of the farm and made her residence on Memorial Drive two years after her husband's death.
Mrs. Bouda leaves two daughters, Miss Evelyn at home, and Mrs. Orval Schultz of Two Rivers, a son, Lloyd Lakosky of Chicago, two sisters, Mrs. Albert Hodick of Westboro, Wis., and Mrs. Frank Berger of Whitelaw, and a brother, Matt Polifka of Clarks Mills. There are three grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 p.m. Thursday until the time of services. The rosary willb e recited at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Friday.
