Mrs. Marie Jindra, 89, of 1931 S. 17th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Martin Fox will officiate and burial will be in Mishicot Public Cemetery.
Mrs. Jindra, nee Marie Ginzel, was born Nov. 3, 1880, in Bohemia, daughterof the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ginzel. She came to this country as a young girl with her parents, setting in the Town of Gibson. She was married to John F. Jindra, Sr. Feb. 9, 1900 at Manitowoc. They owned and operated a farm in Shoto, retiring in 1959, and moving to Manitowoc. Mr. Jindra preceded her in death Jan. 27, 1962.
Survivors include a son, Arnold, of Manitowoc, a sister, Mrs. Rose Jens, of Manitowoc, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Two sons, Lester and John preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 o'clock this Wednesday afternoon where a memorial service will be at 7:30 o'clock this Wednesday evening.
