ANTON FICTUM, SR.
Anton Fictum Sr., 92, 1001 N. 21st St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, at
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Fictum was born Nov. 1, 1891, at Tisch Mills, Wis., son of the late
John and Antoinette Kerch Fictum. Mr. Fictum was employed at Manitowoc Shipbuilding prior to being engaged in farming from 1950 to 1968. He married Emma K. Skubal on Sept. 28, 1920, at Kewaunee. She preceded him in death on May 13, 1956.
Survivors include two sons, and two daughters. He was preceded in death by a son, Allen.

ANTON FICTUM SR.
Anton Fictum Sr., 92, who resided with his daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Guido Barbarossa at 1001 N. 21st St., Manitowoc, died late Tuesday evening, Jan. 3, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at Urbanek and Schlei Pfeffer and Reinbold Funeral Home and 12 noon at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Daniel J. Felton and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Fictum was born Nov. 1, 1891, at Tisch Mills, Wis., son of the late John and Antoinette Kerch Fictum. He grew up and was educated in Tisch Mills. Mr. Fictum was employed at Manitowoc Shipbuilding prior to being engaged in farming from 1950 to 1968. He married Emma K. Skubal on Sept. 28, 1920, at Kewaunee. She preceded him in death on May 13, 1956. He was a Veteran of World War I serving in the Army from 1918-1919. Mr. Fictum was a former member of Z.C.B.J.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Tony J. and Gladys Fictum of Manitowoc and Francis J. and Evelyn Fictum of Mishicot; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann and Guido Barbarossa of Manitowoc and Pauline and Andrew J. Rosik of Rt. 1, Whitelaw; a sister, Mrs. Emily Kralovetz of Sheboygan; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Allen, seven brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Pfeffer and Reinbold Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday where a prayer service by Deacon Paul Kiefer will be at 7:30 p.m.

EMMA FICTUM
Mrs. Anton Fictum, 51, of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, died Sunday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc and at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church. The Rev. E. A. Radey will officiate and burial will be in St. George Catholic cemetery,
Boldt, Wis.
The former Emma Skubal was born Nov. 7, 1894, in the Town of Franklin, Kewaunee County, daughter of the late Frank and Mary Janda Skubal. She was married at Kewaunee, Sept. 28, 1920, and the couple farmed a year in Kewaunee County before coming to Manitowoc. In 1956 the couple moved to the farm in Melnik.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Guido Barbarossa and Mrs. Andrew Rosik of Manitowoc; two sons, Anton Jr. of Cooperstown and Francis of Mishicot; a brother, Julius Skubal of Luxemburg, Wis., and six grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
