OLIVE HONZIK
Mrs. George (Olive) A. Honzik, 77, a resident of Shady Lane Home, formerly of 1709 New York Ave., Manitowoc, died Saturday morning, July 16, at Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday ar Urbanek and Schlei Pfeffer and Reinbold Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Leo J. Schmitt and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Honzik was born June 20, 1906, in the Township of Kossuth, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Wanek Peroutka. She grew up and was educated in the Township of Kossuth, moving to Manitowoc after her marriage and residing here since. She was married to George J. Honzik, May 12, 1925, at Mishicot. She (sic) preceded him (sic) in death Dec. 21, 1972. Mrs. Honzik was a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church and Manitowoc Senior Citizens.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Mildred and Jacob Vertz of Neenah; two brothers, Lester Peroutka of Oshkosh and Eugene Peroutka of Two Rivers; two granddaughters, Valerie Vertz of Neenah and Mary Schmitzer of Neenah and a great granddaughter, Pattie Schmitzer. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Pfeffer and Reinbold Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 6 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Sunday evening, where a prayer service will be at 7 o'clock led by Deacon Kenneth Nelesen.

GEORGE J. HONZIK
George J. Honzik, 77. of 941 N. 15th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church , Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo Schmitt will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Honzik was born Sept. 5, 1895, in the Town of Gibson, son of the late Wenzel and Lena Eckhart Honzik. He married Olive Peroutka May 12, 1925, at Mishicot. After marriage the couple located at Manitowoc. He was employed at Hronek Mason Contractor and later at Mirro Aluminum Co. until his retirement in 1960. He was a member of the Senior Citizens.
Survivors include his wife, a daughter, and two grandchildren. Two brothers and five sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 9 o'clock this Friday evening and Saturday until the time of service. Memorial service will be at 7:30 o'clock this Friday evening.
