EMIL E. KLOIDA (d. 1998)
Emil E. Kloida, age 80, of 3106 Coolidge Place, Manitowoc, died Friday, September 11, 1998, at River's Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral Services will be held 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 15, 1998, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home,and 10 a.m. at the St. Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Ronald Reimer will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial, with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born March 25, 1918, in Manitowoc, son of the late Emil J. and Julia Honzik Kloida. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Class of 1936. Emil served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married the former Jean
Theresa Leist on October 18, 1941, at St. Paul's Catholic Church. She preceded him in death November 5, 1982. Emil was a construction Electrician since 1940, with 32 years employed with Anderson Electric of Manitowoc, retiring in 1982. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, and a member of Manitowoc Aerie #706 of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for 54 years, and was a past president. Emil was enshrined in the Wisconsin State Eagles Hall of Fame. He was a member of both the AMVETS Post #99 and the American Legion Post #88.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Robert Kapinos, Manitowoc; two sons and a daughter-in-law, John and Maureen Kloida, Robert Kloida, all of Manitowoc; five grandchildren, Robert (Rose) Kapinos, Middleton, Wis., Craig (Heidi) Kapinos, Manitowoc, Shari (Chris) Cody, De Pere, Wis., Dawn Kloida, Green Bay, Donna Kloida, Green Bay; two step-great-grandchildren, Brian Gebhard, Laurie Gebhard, both Middleton, Wis.; one sister, Lucille Hodas, Manitowoc; one brother-in-law, Donald Leist, Manitowoc; and a special friend, Lorraine Rehraurer, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Clarence Kloida, Francis and Jean Kloida; one sister and two brothers-in-law, Arnold and Alice Kloida-Vogel, George Hodas; one brother-in-law, Charles Leist; and one sister-in-law, Geraldine Leist.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Monday, September 14, 1998.

KLOIDA Emil J. Kloida, 86. a former resident of 632 S. 18th St. Manitowoc, who had been residing at Holy Family Hospital, died there Sunday evening after a lingering illness.
Funeral Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Wed at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church. The Very Rev. Clement P. Kern will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

JULIA KLOIDA
Mrs. Emil Kloida, 72, of ___ S. 18th? St., Manitowoc, died late Saturday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc, the Rev. Clement Kern officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.She was born Julia Honzik on March 22, 1885, in the town of Gibson, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel Henzik. In June, 1907, she was married to Mr. Kloida in Tisch Mills, and the couple located in Manitowoc. They resided here ever since.
Surviving are the husband, two sons, Francis Kloida and Emil Jr. of Manitowoc; two daughters, Mrs… (2-1/2 lines underinked)…of Manitowoc and Wenzel of Gibson, three sisters, Mrs. John Blaha of Antigo, Mrs. Mary Chaloupka of Kings Bridge, and Mrs. Frank Kunz of Gibson, and 13 grandchildren.
Friends may call after noon Monday at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 8:15 p.m.
