  The Ruben and Lorinda Voecks Buckendahl Family Ruben Buckendahl was born October 9, 1911. On June 2, 1943, he married Lorinda Voecks who was born December 27, 1913. To this marriage was born Dian Kay. They resided in Pierce and were co-owners of Buckendahl Bros. John Deere from 1946 until retirement in 1977. Ruben served in the Army from September, 1942 until January, 1946, in England and Belgium. Ruben died December 24, 1989, at the age of 78 in Norfolk, Nebraska. Lorinda died June 18, 1994, at the age of 80.
