EARL E. PELTIER
Earl E. Peltier, 75, of 426 N. Ninth St., Manitowoc, died Saturday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Cyril VanHeeswyck will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Military Graveside services will be conducted by the Amvets Post No. 99.
Mr. Peltier was born Jan. 11, 1897, at Mishicot, son of the late Andrew and Mary Jindra Peltier. He was a veteran of World War I serving in the Army from Oct. 21, 1918 to Dec. 9, 1920. Mr. Peltier had been employed at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc. and also at Manitowoc Equipment Works prior to his retirement in 1961. He was a member of the Machinist Lakeshore Lodge No. 2064.
Survivors include two sons, Eugene and Donald of Manitowoc, two sisters, Miss Irene Peltier and Mrs. Charles Hayden of Manitowoc, 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday where a Wake service wil be held at 8 p.m.

Pelkey
Andrew H. (Peltier) Pelkey, 88 of 847 N. Sixth St., Manitowoc died Saturday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a short illness.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Pelkey was born May 1, 1870 in the Town of Mishicot, son of the late George and Harriet Ruelle Peltier. He married Mary Jindra at Mishicot Feb. 17, 1896, and the couple farmed in the Mishicot area. They came to Manitowoc in 1906 where Mr. Pelkey was employed by Manitowoc Northern Traction Co. Smalley Manufacturing co. and Worel Hardware. Mrs. Pelkey died April 11, 1958.
He was a member of the Holy Name Society of Sacred Heart Church and was the last of 17 Peltier children.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charles Hayden and Miss Irene Peltier of Manitowoc, a son, Earl of Manitowoc; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3:30 p.m. Monday where the Holy Name Society will recite the Rosary at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Ralph M. Snyder, 75, of 807 S. 18th St.. Manitowoc died Friday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The REv. Paul H. Blaufuss will officiate with burial in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mrs. Snyder, nee Helen M. Gretz, was born June 16, 1901, at Cooperstown, daughter of the ate Ignatz and mary Levandowski Gretz. She was married to Earl Peltier in 19822. He preceded her in death in 1972. She was married to Ralph M. Snyder Aug. 4, 1948, at Waukegan, Ill. She was a lifelong Manitowoc county resident and prior to her retirement was employed at Globe Laundry for many years.
Survivors include her husband, two sons, Eugene Peltier and Donald G. Peltier, of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Sylvester Sieracki, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Robert Christenson, of Denmark, 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Three brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Sunday.
