Blanche E. Jindra
Blanche E. Jindra, age 89, formerly of Two Rivers, currently residing at the Countryside Nursing Home in Jefferson, Wis., died Saturday morning, May 8, 2004 at the nursing home.
Funeral services are tentatively scheduled for Tuesday morning at Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers, with burial to follow in the Mishicot Public Cemetery.
Complete funeral arrangements will be announced on Monday by the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels of Two Rivers.

Blanche E. (nee Fallada) Jindra, age 89, formerly of 1936-31st St., Two Rivers, died Saturday morning, May 8, 2004 at Countryside Home, Jefferson.
Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday, May 11, 2004, at Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers, with the Rev. Louis Sievert officiating with burial in Mishicot Public Cemetery, Mishicot.
Blanche was born in Chicago, Ill. on Oct. 27, 1914, a daughter of the late John and Mary Schleis Fallada. When she was 7 years old, the family moved to a farm in Klondike, where she attended school and grew up with cousins she loved. On May 2, 1946, she married Reuben Jindra at St. Peter?s Lutheran Church in Mishicot by the Rev. Edward Zell. Reuben preceded her in death on June 7, 1994. Blanche and Reuben were longtime members of Our Savior Lutheran Church. Most recently Blanche was a member of St. John?s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jefferson.
Survivors include two daughters: Lynn and Don Gadzinski, Jefferson; Wendy and Gene Mauzy, Green Mountain Falls, Colo.; two granddaughters: Andrea and Jeff Simmons, Madison; Alee and Greg Gerke, Jefferson; two great-grandsons: A.J. Simmons, Madison; Gabe Gerke, Jefferson. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews who will miss her warmth and humor and by a loving family of caregivers at Countryside Home in Jefferson where she was a resident for the past two years.
She loved a good laugh. She loved to sing, especially the old time songs, especially if she could sing harmony. She had a heart of gold and she worked like a trooper. We were blessed to have had her for so long.

Reuben H. Jindra, age 91, of 1936 31st St., Two Rivers, died Tuesday, June 7, 1994, at the Two Rivers Community Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 10, 1994, at Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Philip Henning will officiate with burial to follow in the Mishicot Public Cemetery.
Reuben was born August 18, 1902, in Mishicot, son of the late George and Mary Lenhardt Jindra. After graduating from Mishicot High School he served in the United States Army during World War II. He was employed at the Crescent Woolen Mills from 1945 until his retirement in 1967. On May 2, 1946, he married the former Blanche Fallada at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mishicot.
Survivors include his wife, Blanche; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Don Gadzinski, Manitowoc, Wendy and Gene Mauzy, Green Mountain Falls, Colo.; two grandchildren, Andrea Gadzinski and Alee Trainor, both of Madison. Besides his parents he was preceeded in death by three sisters and five brothers.
Friends may call at Our Savior Lutheran Church after 9 a.m. on Friday until the time of service.
Memorials may be made to Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church.
The Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, assisted the family with arrangements.
Rueben was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who was much loved. He will be sadly missed.
