Meissner
Mrs. Henry (Libby) Meissner, 73, of 450 E. Reed Ave., Manitowoc, died Monday evening at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, The Rev. Glenn Unke will officate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Meissner, nee Libby Jindra, was born Nov. 29, 1901, in the late Wencil and Rose Youra Jindra. She was educated in Mishicot area schools and was married to Henry Meissner Dec. 27, 1921, at Manitowoc. She was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, a son, William of Miami, Fla., a sister, Mrs. Mamie Buglar, of Rt. 2 Two Rivers, and a grandson, Jay Meissner, a grandson Steven, preceded her in death in July of 1971.
Friends may call at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home from 4 of 9 pm. Wednesday and at the church from 11 a.m. Thursday until the time of service.

HENRY W. MEISSNER
Henry W. Meissner, 84, of 520 E. Reed Ave., Manitowoc, died Nov. 30, 1982, at
Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Glenn Unke will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Meissner was born Sept. 10, 1898, in the Town of Two Rivers, son of the
late Rudolph and Emma Meissner. In his younger years he worked for Clark Oil
Company, Manitowoc. Then, in 1949, he organized Lake Park Oil Inc., which he
owned and operated until 1968. He currently was employed part time by the
Manitowoc Y.M.C.A. He married Libby Jindra, Dec. 27, 1921, at Manitowoc. She
preceded him in death Dec. 16, 1974. Mr. Meissner was a member of Immanuel
Evangelical Lutheran Church, and a past member of the Men's Club of the church
and the Manitowoc Kiwanis Club.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, William H. and Marilee Meissner of
Plantation, Fla.; a grandson and his wife, Jay P. and Karen Meissner of Atlanta,
Ga.; three brothers and two sisters, Roland Meissner, and Clarence and Eva
Meissner of Manitowoc, and Wilmer and Joyce Meissner of Shoto; two sisters and
brothers-in-law, Esther and Elmer Neubert of Manitowoc, and Evelyn and Reuben
Glihsmann of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., other relatives and friends. He was preceded
in death by four brothers, Edwin, Charles, Rudolph and Harvey, and a sister,
Arline.
Friends may call at Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Sunday and from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday, and at the church from 11:30 a.m.
until the time of services. Memorials are appreciated to Immanuel Evangelical
Lutheran Church or the Manitowoc Y.M.C.A.

Wencil Jindra, 85, of 726 N. 10th St., Manitowoc, retired farmer and mason, died Monday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Mantiowoc, after a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. D.L. Krembs will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetry.
Mr. Jindra was born in the Town of Kossuth Sept. 28, 1874, son to the late George and Mary Krcmarik Jindra. He was educated in rural schools within the township and married Rose Youra Nov. 9, 1898. The couple settled in the Town of Mishicot where he farmed until 1926, moving then to Manitowoc. He had been employed as a mason by Eisner Construction Co. of Manitowoc until retiring in 1940. His wife died in 1939.
Surviving him are a son, Leo of Manitowoc; two daughters, Mrs. Anton Bugler of Two Rivers and Mrs. Henry Meissner of Manitowoc; two brothers, Frank and John of Manitowoc; four grandchildren and seven great grand-
children.
Four sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Jindra Funeral
Funeral Services for Mrs. Wencil Jindra, 58, who died yesterday at the home, 726 North Tenth street, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home, the Rev. C.H. Phipps officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Jindra, nee Rosa Youra was born in Kossuth in 1881 and in 1898 was married to Mr. Yindra (sic) in this city, where they since resided.
Survivorrs are the widower; two daughters, Mrs. Anton Bugler of Two Rivers, Mrs. Henry Weissner (sic) of this city; son, Leo of this city; brother, Anton of Kossuth; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Kitzerow of Kewaunee, Mrs. John Strouf of Fond du Lac.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home.
