  Herald Times Reporter (Manitowoc, Ohio) > 1976 > May > 24 Jindra Mrs. Vera Jindra, 77, of 1722-29th St., Two Rivers, died Saturday morning at Theda Clark Hospital, Neenah. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Martin Scheele will officiate and burial will be in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers. Mrs. Jindra, nee Vera Last, was born Feb. 13, 1899. daughter of the late August and Minnie Kracht Last. She was married to Walter Jindra, who preceded her in death in 1840. She was the head housekeeper at Shady Lane for many years, retiring in 1964, and then clerked at Schroeder Bros. Dept. Store, Two Rivers. She was a member of St. John Ladies Society and Senior Citizens, Two Rivers. Survivors include a son, Richard, of Elwell, Mich.; a daughter Mrs. Leigh (Carol) Andrews, of Oshkosh; three sisters, Mrs. Hilda Harpt of Mishicot, Mrs. Clifford Amerpohl, of Appleton and Mrs. Ray Vogt, of Rt. 3., Two Rivers, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. A sister and brother preceded her in death. Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, after 4 o'clock this Monday afternoon from 11 a.m. Tuesday until time of service at the church.
