  In 1913-1914 Martha Schmidt was listed as being a Graded School Gradua te in a pamphlet entitled "The Eighth Manitowoc County Annual" 1913 and 1914 C. W. Meisnest, County Supt. She graduated from Two Creeks, District No. 2, which is believed to be t he school built on property that Fred Jonas sold to the school district. Martha M. Jonas Manitowoc Herald Times May 26, 1963 Jonas Mrs. Martha Jonas, 66, of Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc, and formerly of Two Rivers, died Sunday noon at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, and at 2 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, the Rev. T. F. Stern officiating. Burial will be in Forest View Cemetery. Mrs. Jonas, nee Martha Schmidt, was born Feb. 4, 1897, daughter of the late George and Mary Kouba Schmidt. She was married Nov. 23, 1918, to Emil C. Jonas at Two Rivers. Mr. Jonas died June 15, 1950. she was a member of St. John Ladies Aid Society. Surviving are two sons, Alfred and Arnold of Two Rivers, and a sister, Mrs. Alwood Burmeister of Two Rivers. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
