Ferdon, age 89, of North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of 1834 Rankin St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday afternoon, May 21, 1996, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 23, 1996, at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Rev. Stephen Schuette will officiate with burial at the Evergreen Cemetery. Frank was born July 30, 1906, in Oconto County, Wis., son of the late Obehidiah Kathryne Yindra Ferdon. Frank was employed for many years at Mirro Aluminum as a crane operator until his retirement. He married Edna Bean, July 8, 1944, in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on February 28, 1995. Survivors include two step-sons, Robert Pratt, Gillett, Wis., Marshall Pratt, Manitowoc; one daughter, Kathleen Davis; three step-daughters, Shirley (George) Benzschawel, Manitowoc, Jane (Richard ) Schmidt, Manitowoc, June Graczykowski, Manitowoc; 18 step-grandchildren; other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna in 1995, along with brothers and sisters.
