Kempfert, 75, of 1616A-22nd St. Two Rivers, died Wednesday morning at Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Robert Rhyner will officiate with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers. Mrs. Kempfert was born Feb. 28, 1898, at Two Rivers, daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Brunner Kanzelberger. She was married to Walter Kempfert April 23, 1949, at Two Rivers. Mrs. Kempfert was a member of the Ladies of St. Luke, the Two Rivers Catholic Woman's Club and the American Legion Auxiliary. Her husband preceded her in death May 10, 1862. Survivors include a step-daughter, Mrs. Val (Phyllis) Komoroski, of Two Rivers, a brother, Walter, of Two Rivers and two step-grandchildren. Friends may call at 3 p.m. Friday at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, American Legion Auxillary servies will be held at 7 p.m. and memorial services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
