  Manitowoc Herald Times (Manitowoc, Wisconsin) > 1970 > April > 25 SOENKSEN Mrs. Mary Soenksen, 102, of Rt. 1 Mishicot, residing in the former Stangel's Corners area, one of the oldest residents in Manitowoc County, died Friday morning at the home. Funeral services will be at 10 am Monday at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, the Rev. Robert Boettcher officiating. Burial will be in Maack Cemetery near the home. A member of one the area's earliest families, Mrs. Soenksen, nee Mary Maack, was born June 18, 1867 in the Town of Mishicot, a daughter of the late Charles and Fredericka Maack. She was married in July of 1891 to Arthur Soenksen. He preceded her in death in 1950. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Marie) Gustafson of Rt. 1 Mishicot. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday.
