  	Francis (Frank) Scheuer Francis (Frank) Scheuer, age 76, of 527 Elizabeth St. Mishicot, died early Monday morning, April 22, 2002 at the Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2002 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot, with the Rev. John Neuser officiating. Entombment will take place in the Knollwood Mausoleum in the town of Kossuth with military services accorded by the Mishicot VFW Kempen-Staudinger-Terens Post #7753. Frank was born February 15, 1926 in Kaukauna, to the late Irvin and Gertrude Hoff Scheuer and has been a longtime area resident. He was a graduate of the Mishicot High School with the class of 1944. Frank served his county in the United States Navy from 1946 to 1948. Frank married the former Mary Haen on November 22, 1956 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenleaf. He owned and operated Frank Scheuer Retinning in Mishicot until his retirement in 1974. He later worked as the custodian for the Holy Cross Parish in Mishicot from 1974-1988. Frank was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and was also a member of the Mishicot VFW Kempen-Staudinger-Terens Post #7753. Survivors include his wife: Mary; his children: James and Jeffer Scheuer of Owen; Thomas Scheuer of Mishicot; Jean and Neil Hopka of Two Rivers; Daniel Scheuer of Mishicot; David and Betsy Scheuer of Maribel; Marie and Kevin Steeber of Mishicot; Joseph and Kelly Scheuer of Mishicot; Rita and Robert Lee of Tomahawk; and four grandchildren: Michael Steeber, John and grace Scheuer and Kathryn Lee. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law: Maxine Juckem of Manitowoc; Jeanette Hansen of Two Rivers; Kathleen and Vernon Pautz of Mishicot; Joan and Lloyd Brouchoud of Mishicot; his brothers and sister-in-law: Patrick and Darlene (Dolly) Scheuer of Mishicot; and Michael Scheuer of Mishicot. Frank is further survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Dorothy and Vernon Christopherson of Green Bay; Elizabeth and John Pinkert of Green Bay; Rose Marie and Robert Hibbard of Wrightstown; George and Karen Haen of Shiocton; Dale Christopher of West Allis; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also preceded in death by four grandchildren: Nicholas and Alyssa Steeber; Aimee and Nathan Hopka; his mother-in-law and father-in-law: Marcella and George Haen; one brother: John Scheuer; two brothers-in-law: Edward Juckem and Albert Hansen; and one sister-in-law: Evelyn Christopher. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Lambert Funeral Home in Mishicot. There will be a 7 p.m. parish wake service Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Visitation will continue after 10 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home until leaving for the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross. Herald Times Reporter April 23, 2022
