Clarence Jindra, 40 Found Dead by Son Maplewood - A Maplewood native, Clarence Jindra, 40, died from a heart ailment in the Town of Newton, Manitowoc county, Friday and the funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Peter Nilles Monday morning at 8:30 from St. Mark's Catholic church, Two Rivers. Interment was in the Holy Cross cemetery. Mr. Jindra, who operated Jindra's Log Cabin tavern in Newton, had been ailing for several months. He was found shortly before 8 o'clock Friday morning by his son, Neil. He was born September 24, 1902 and left for Two Rivers shortly after his marriage at Sturgeon Bay in 1925 to Miss Marcella Wilson. AT Two Rivers he was employed by the Aluminum Goods Manufacturing company until three years ago when he entered the tavern business. Mrs. Jindra died Oct. 18, 1941. Survivors are his son, Neil, and his daughter, Priscilla, one sister, Mrs. George Feller, Maplewood, and two brothers, Harry, Sawyer, and Vincent Yindra, Lima, Ohio.
