  	Ex-Hardware Dealer Dies Frank Zeman Taken at Manitowoc; was 70 Frank S. Zeman, 70, of 847 North 13th street, Manitowoc, former alderman and retired hardware merchant there, died early today at his home. He had been confined to his bed since last December. Funeral services will be held there Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Zeman home the Rev. C.H. Phipps officiating. He was born in Kossuth in 1874, and spent his early life on a farm. Coming to Manitowoc he engaged in the hardware business, forming a partnership with the late Albert G. Worel under the firm name, the Worel and Zeman hardware company, and operating a business on Buffalo street. Later these two partners joined with the late Jacob Stangel and founded a new firm at Eighth and York streets, kown as the Worel, Zeman, Stangel company, which engaged in both wholesale and retail business. Mr. Zeman retired 15 years ago. Thirty years ago, he married Mrs. Emma Pech. She died in 1940. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Edwin Dueno, of Detroit; a niece, Mrs. Gladys Pech, who made her home with Mr. Zeman; two brothers, Steven of Kossuth, John of Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. Eli Baugniet of Mishicot, Mrs. Annie Pudil, of Milwaukee.
