  	Mrs. D. Osborne Is Laid At Rest Here Saturday Many Friends Pay Last Tribute to Memory of Well Known Resident of This City. Last Rites were held for Mrs. David E. Osborne Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Jude Thaddeus church, with the Rev. Father Corbett officiating. Low requium mass was said, and hymns were sung as follows: "Hymn to the Sacred Heart" and an "Ave Maria", by Mrs. Willow Guenser, Mrs. Charles Hilla and Mrs. V.R. Griswold. Interment was in the Calvary cemetery. Pallbearers included Peter C. Barrett, W.L. MacKenzie, George Rist, Bert Wade, William A. Ries, and Frank Cowan. The church was filled to capacity as friends gathered in memory of a woman who had lived for many years in Havre. Floral tributes had told her story of friendship and sympathy. Rosary services had been held the previous day, and where many friends had called. Members of the Neighbors of Woodcraft attended the services in a body, Mrs. Osborne having been a member of that order. Born April 4, 1884, Mrs. Meta Osborne had come to the United States at five years, living in Chicago and Hillboro, N. Dak., before coming to Havre about 1900 with her mother, Mrs. Xavier Peopin. She was married to M. J. Donnellan in 1904, one daughter, Ruth Donnelan, being born to them, she surviving her mother. In 1922, she was marriedt o David Osborne, by whom she is survived. Her mother died about three years ago having been bedridden for 15 years, during which time her daughter had tenderly cared for her. Mrs. Osborne had been in poor health for serveral years, but her death came suddenly last Thursday morning. The Havre Daily News Tue, Feb 20, 1934 ·Page 6
