- Frank J. Grall, 70, of Francis Creek, died Tuesday afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a coronary attack.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. John Haen will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Evansville, Ind.
Mr. Grall Was born Feb. 11, 1900, at Whitelaw, son of the late John and Louise Kuehnl Grall. He attended St. Michael School at Whitelaw. He married Adeline Neuser in 1926 and she preceded him in death in 1956. Mr. Grall was a retired sales representative of Manitowoc Engineering Co. He started his career there as a field service manager and then became shop foreman. He later was employed in the sales department and district representative in the Chicago and Evansville, Ind., area. Since 1957, he worke out of the home office at Manitowoc. He retired tow years agao but was retained on a part-time basis as a consultant. Mr. Grall was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Anne Church, the Knights of Columbus Council No. 710, and also a volunteer worker for the St. Vincent DePaul Society of Manitowoc. In February of 1959 he married Mrs. Irene McManus.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Henry of Boulder In Park, Calif., and Kenneth of Stevensivlle(sic), Mich.; three daughters Mrs. Thomas E. (Olive) Smith of Los Angeles, Mrs. William A. (Arlene) Klaser of Evansville and rs. Marilyn Cowell of Glendale, Calif.; Two step-sons, Arthur McManus of Milwaukee, and Michael McManus of Statesville, N.C.; a step-daughter, Mrs. larry Conway of Ogden, Iowa; three brothers, John, Lawrence and Edmund of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Edgar Pfeffer of Manitowoc and Mrs. Anthony Tuschl of Whitelaw; four step-brothers, Ervin and Ralph Sickinger of Milwaukee, and Martin and Gerhard Sickinger of Manitowoc; four step-sisters, the Venerable Sister M. Bertilia of Milwaukee, Mrs. Walter Herman and Mrs .Lucille Kapinos of Manitowoc and Mrs. Lester Kiel of Whitelaw, and 28 grandchildren. A daughter, Marion, preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home 2 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday until the time of services Friday. A prayer service will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home by Father Haen, the Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus.
