  	John Lenhardt, 54, of 921 South Twelfth St., a resident of Two Rivers  until nine months ago when he moved to this city, died at 1 o’clock  Sunday morning at Holy Family hospital. He suffered a heart attack  Friday.  Mr. Lenhardt was born at Two Rivers, Feb. 26?, 1887, and followed the  plumbing trade for many years. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs.  E. L. Weber and Mrs. Albert Donchack, both of this city.  The body will lie in state at the Pfeffer Funeral Home where funeral  services will be conducted Tuesday morning at 8:30 o’clock followed by  services at 9 o’clock at St. Boniface church. The Rev. J. H. Schmitt  will officiate and burial will be in Pioneers’ Rest cemetery at Two  Rivers. The rosary will be recited tonight at 7 o’clock.  Manitowoc Herald Times, Monday, May 12, 1941

He had suffered attacks of apoplexy for the past year. Deceased was born in Hasselbach, Kries Simmern, Regierungsbezick, Coblenz, Germany and came to this country with his parents at the age of eight years in 1858, they settling at the tannery, a few miles north of here. He spent part of his boyhood on a farm in Mishicot and then he came to this city where he has resided for upwards of thirty-five years. He was married to Katherine Reinert who survives him as do three daughters, Margaret, Amanda and Anna and one son, John. He also leaves a brother, Alderman Ferdinand Lenhardt and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Freiss and Mrs. George Jindra. The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon from St. John's Lutheran Church.
